Collection Feelmе is philosophical vision that raises the issue of eliminating (withdrawing) bodily contact and body communication from our lives.
"Today people are drifting away from each other and don't explore themselves since when we embody (reflect) a different identity we learn more about ourselves. Descending into electronic communication, we deprive ourselves of a big part of our life, we cannot feel the way we could feel. This sublimation, replacing body contact, - becomes a world trend and it is my duty, as a designer, raise this issue."- Elena Burenina, collection creator, comments.
In the collection itself, this idea shows in tactility of the material - soft fleecy fabrics, emerging the desire to touch and accelerate sensuality. Soft and conceptual flavor. Glossy textures intertwine with a velvety matte. The main colors of the collection: neon, orange, lime. Accent spots are clearly placed, expressing the emotional sphere of a person
The 60s became the timely space for diving into the collection, and more precisely the end of this turbulent decade, when people began to learn their sexuality, liberate themselves, live in the style of Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. The key elements of the embodiment of the designer's idea were tattoos in the form of an octopus, symbolizing strong embraces, audacity and protest against the stereotypes of society, jeans, as an essential attribute of the 60s, unisex things that blur gender boundaries.
Appealing to the 60th, Elena Burenina tells about the time when the world was still living without electronic devices, people opened up to each other, not being afraid to touch hearts and bodies.
